Procedures

Parish Council meetings are formal events with a clear purpose - to make decisions. To ensure meetings run smoothly the Parish Council operates by following set procedures known as Standing Orders.

Meetings start at 7:00pm and there is usually a time limited period set aside for public participation where the public or community groups can participate and bring matters to the attention of the Parish Council, seek advice and comment on local issues of interest. These procedures are detailed under Standing Orders.

If the Parish Council is required to make a decision or support a scheme, the matter must be included as a specific agenda item. The agenda item will explain the matter and may include a summary of any action the Parish Council is requested to consider taking.

Agenda items must be submitted to the Clerk/Responsible Finance Officer 10 days before the date of the meeting please note agenda items are subject to the Clerks/Responsible Finance Officer disgression. Agenda's will be produced and printed 3 clear days prior to the meeting.

The agenda and Parish Councillor contact details are displayed on this website and on the Parish Council notice boards which are situated at;
